How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, liquid smoke, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper in a medium bowl.

Step 2

Prepare a bowl of water. Stack 2 rice paper sheets together; use sharp kitchen scissors to cut into long strips about 1-inch wide. Dip stacked strips in water briefly, allow excess water to drip off, and then dip in marinade. Lay flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with remaining rice paper sheets.

Step 3

Bake until crispy, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven; let cool slightly.
