How to Make It
Brown turkey in a large skillet over high, breaking it up as it cooks, about 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt; drain liquid.
While turkey browns, place tomato sauce, 1 cup water, ketchup, onion, bell pepper, carrot, garlic, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a blender; blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour over browned meat, and stir well. Bring to a boil over high; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Uncover, increase heat to high, and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in cheese. To serve, spoon 1/2 cup meat mixture over bottom halves of buns, and top with your favorite toppings and top halves of buns.
