How to Make It
1. Combine wheat cereal, rice cereal, pretzels, and oat cereal in a 5- to 6-quart oval slow cooker coated liberally with cooking spray. Whisk together butter, jelly, apple pie spice, and pepper; gradually pour over cereal mixture, tossing to coat evenly. Place a clean, lint-free kitchen towel over mixture in cooker. Cover and cook on low until lightly browned and toasted, about 3 hours, stirring every hour.
2. Spread mixture on baking sheets to cool completely. (Mixture will become crisper after cooling.)
