We like these simple baked apple slices spooned over oatmeal, but they would also be delightful cooled and swirled into yogurt. Fruity cardamom brings an extra layer of flavor to this recipe, but if you’re averse to it, they’re just as delicious without.
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400℉ and spray a baking pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
Slice apples in half, and then cut into medium slices. Add lemon juice, sugar, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger to a bowl. Add apple slices and toss until coated.
Step 3
Spread coated apple slices into baking pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
