The slow cooker is a surprising but easy way to prepare crab legs, and this buttery, garlicky mixture is a perfect cooking liquid and serving sauce. Look for crab leg clusters in the frozen foods section of the grocery store.
How to Make It
1. Stir together water, olive oil, butter, garlic, and seasoning in a 6-quart oval slow cooker. Add frozen crab leg clusters, trimming legs, if necessary, to fit. Cover and cook on high until crab is heated through, about 2 hours. Remove crab leg clusters, and set aside.
2. Boil cooking liquid in cooker, uncovered, until reduced to about 1/2 cup, 7 to 8 minutes. Stir in parsley. Serve garlic sauce and, if desired, lemon slices with crab leg clusters.
