Perk up precooked brown rice with fresh orange rind, a faintly floral note that's welcome in stir-fries and other classic Asian dishes. If you like, you can add chopped toasted almonds or peanuts for extra crunch.

How to Make It

Step 1

1. Heat rice in microwave according to package directions.

Step 2

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add green onions; sauté 2 minutes. Stir in rind, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute. Stir in rice; cook 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
