This spiced cashew butter comes together quickly with the help of a food processor or high-powered blender. Ground cumin, cinnamon, and a pinch of red pepper make this nut butter spicy and complex, but try this basic recipe for a simpler version. Cashews are packed with nutrients like iron, zinc, and copper, plus they're lower in calories and fat than other nut butters. Spread this nut butter over toast and add a little crunch with pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds.
How to Make It
Process roasted cashews, honey, coconut oil, salt, cumin, cinnamon, and ground red pepper in a food processor, scraping sides occasionally, until mixture is creamy, 4 to 8 minutes.
