This refreshing summertime sipper has sweet-citrus flavor and nuanced heat from jalapeño-infused tequila. In place of triple sec or Cointreau (orange-flavored liqueur), we save big on calories and added sugar by using fresh orange juice instead. In addition to being crisp and cooling, cucumbers offer up lots of vitamin C and vitamin K—important for overall heart health.
How to Make It
Step 1
Place tequila and jalapeño in a small bowl or cup. Let stand 1 hour. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve over a cup; discard solids.
Step 2
Blend cucumber, orange juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and salt until smooth. Strain mixture into a pitcher; discard solids. Stir in tequila.
Step 3
Divide mixture among 4 ice-filled glasses. Garnish with fresh mint, if desired.
