All you need is four ingredients to make lower-sugar crispy peanut butter balls that kids and grown-ups will love. Offer this easy recipe for a bite-size treat or on-the-go snack. If you need a peanut-free snack, you can use almond butter or even sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter.

How to Make It

1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Combine peanut butter, cereal, and maple syrup in a medium bowl. Roll mixture into 12 balls, using about 2 teaspoons for each. Place on prepared baking sheet. Freeze balls until firm, about 15 minutes.

2. Roll balls in melted chocolate. Return to freezer until chocolate is set, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
