How to Make It
Stir together apple, cranberries, brown sugar, orange zest, orange juice, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon stick in a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low until apples and cranberries are soft, about 4 hours, stirring halfway through the cook time. Let stand about 15 minutes. Remove cinnamon stick and serve warm or chilled. Spoon over frozen yogurt. Store the mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
