Make this impressive fall dessert in only half an hour with just a bowl and a cast-iron pan. Fresh apples and rich cinnamon combine for a baked good that will leave guests coming back for seconds.
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Melt butter and add apples, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon sugar. Cook apples for 5 minutes,or until soft.
Step 2
While apples are cooking, whisk together vanilla, eggs and milk. Add flour and 1 tablespoon sugar and beat batter until smooth.
Step 3
When apples are soft, remove from pan and add batter. Bake for 20 minutes, or until puffed and cooked through. Top pancake with apples and serve.
