Canned chickpeas, cumin, and mint amp up the flavor of fresh green beans (also known as haricot verts) in this simple weeknight side that's ready in just 20 minutes.
How to Make It
Preheat broiler to high. Place chickpeas on a rimmed baking sheet; rub with a clean kitchen towel to loosen skins. Add olive oil and haricots verts to pan; toss. Broil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine bean mixture, pepper, salt, and cumin in a medium bowl; toss. Place bean mixture on a platter; sprinkle with chopped fresh mint.
