The best part is that you don't need a Sam's Club membership to start shopping.
Many shoppers were excited when Costco first partnered with Instacart in 2017 because it created a loophole to shop at the wholesale retailer without needing a membership. The same is now true for Sam's Club, where same-day delivery through Instacart will be rolled out to more than 350 Sam's Club locations across the United States by the end of December.
In some areas, Instacart is already up and running with Sam's Club deliveries, as more than 1,000 new ZIP codes are currently eligible for Instacart's services. Shoppers won't need a Sam's Club membership to shop their private-label groceries or fantastic deals on kitchen appliances.
If you choose to shop online, however, do expect an upcharge on most items you purchase—Instacart normally tacks 15 percent onto store prices, in addition to fees for Instacart non-members. But for those who prefer to shop in bulk every once in a while, this is a great way to stock up on all your favorites—without shelling out annual membership fees at Sam's Club (which can range between $45 and $100).
