The company is issuing a voluntary recall for three types of tomato sauce.

Mizkan America, Inc., the producer of Ragu tomato sauces, issued a voluntary recall on Saturday for three varieties of their products. Select production codes of Ragu’s Old World Style Traditional, Old World Style Meat, and Chunky Tomato Garlic & Onion may contain plastic fragments. The company says there have not been any consumer reports of injuries or complaints.

Mizkan America Inc. asks for consumers to check the yellow caps of Ragu jars in their pantries or refrigerators and discard them immediately, or return them to the place of purchase. The production codes being recalled are as follows:

Mizkan says consumers who have purchased the recalled sauces should call their customer service hotline at 800-328-7248 with questions. Mizkan America will provide a replacement coupon to consumers and may also make arrangements to retrieve the product for further examination.
