If 2017 was the year of the sandwich emoji, then 2018 is destined to be the year of the lobster emoji.

Yesterday, Unicode Consortium released their Emoji 11.0 update, which includes 157 new emojis—and seven new food emojis—for 2018. One particular emoji, a shiny red lobster, evoked celebration across the state of Maine.

Maine Senator Angus King tweeted his gratitude to Unicode for the addition of this “critical crustacean” to their lineup. Last year, the senator petitioned to Unicode for the addition of the lobster, quoting its “cultural relevance” to his state.

We were ecstatic to see a sandwich emoji on 2017’s release (because what better way to communicate your hangry sentiments?), but we’re even more excited to see the humble lobster getting the recognition it deserves.

The other options to boost your texting game include a vibrant mango, crisp leafy greens, a classic salt shaker, a sliced bagel, a decked-out cupcake, and a mooncake—a traditional Chinese dessert.

While the new lineup seems to be a bit junk food-heavy, there are still plenty of healthy food options. We’re especially loving the introduction of the mango, a Vitamin C powerhouse, and leafy greens, which can include a plethora of nutritious ingredients from kale to spinach to collard greens.

Lastly, it’s about time for a bagel emoji—but we’re still holding out hope for a lox emoji in the future.

Other non-food emojis  to come include an exotic brigade of animals from the llama to the kangaroo, superheroes and villains, and the long-anticipated option to adorn your emoji with red hair.

You can find the full 2018 emoji list on Unicode’s site, including previews of how they could look across platforms such as Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and Twitter. You’ll have to wait until later this year to see the new food emojis on your smartphone, but until then, here’s a sneak peek below to whet your appetite.
