If there's anyone on social media who can get people to chat with one another, it's Chrissy Teigen. The cookbook author is known to take to social media to interact with other cooks, like the time that she officially dubbed this blogger the "vegan Teigen." So it's no surprise that she generated a lot of buzz earlier this week when she took to social media to ask one of the most hotly debated questions we've ever heard: What is the healthiest fast food meal?

It's clear that Teigen was as serious as can be—she said so!—but she also took time to respond to users who put forth suggestions. We'll admit—more than a few were either joking or uninformed, but some of those who responded had smart replies.

Brierley Horton, RD, says the Grilled Market Salad at Chick-fil-A is by and far the best choice for those looking for a safe lunch option at the drive thru: Fresh apples, blueberries, Harvest Nut granola, and grilled chicken help make the salad feel like a filling meal minus unnecessary calories.

One Twitter user suggested Taco Bell, which others decried—but our team of nutritionists have previously vetted their menu, finding that vegetarian options are often best alongside any "Fresco" menu item, which ditches sources of heavy fat like cheese and sour cream.

Here are three ways to find healthy fast food in your area:

Many of the suggestions will make you laugh out loud:

But the thread is a good reminder that we can make good choices, even at fast food restaurants.

We've done the hard work for you, sending one staffer into the field to find the healthiest meals at 35 different chain restaurants across the country. Keep these in mind the next time you hit up a drive thru, and we'll be sharing our list with Chrissy ASAP.
