Two Days Ahead

• Plan on approximately 1/3 pound of potatoes per person, ½ pound if you want to ensure leftovers. Most cooks agree that Yukon Gold potatoes are great for mashing. Wash, peel (optional) and dice the potatoes into 3 inch cubes. Transfer the diced potatoes to a large bowl and fill with cold water to prevent potatoes from turning brown, cover snugly with Glad® Press’n Seal® Wrap and refrigerate.

Thanksgiving Day

• Remove potatoes from refrigerator; drain water, and cook according to your favorite mashed potato recipe. To reheat for mealtime, place in microwave-safe serving bowl and cover with Glad® Press’n Seal® Wrap, microwave on medium until hot throughout.
