Ultimate Reader Recipe Contest—Time's Running Out!

As great as the recipes our Test Kitchens and professional recipe developers create are, we like to see what you can come up with too. That's why there's a Cooking Light Ultimate Reader Recipe Contest. We're giving away $5,000 to each of four category winners and $20,000 to the overall winner for an original recipe.

But the reason we're posting about it now is that you're running out of time! Entries are due in by May 31. We know you've got a secret recipe somewhere; pull it out and send it in. Don't be worried if you've never entered a recipe contest before—neither had Katherine Hinrichs last year, and she won the whole thing with her Caribbean Shrimp Salad with Lime Vinaigrette (that's it to the right).
