How to Make a Spooky Spiderweb Design for Soups

Sweet or savory, soups are perfect to serve at any Halloween gathering. If your recipe calls for an optional dollop of sour cream (or yogurt), use it to your advantage by creating a creepy-crawly spiderweb. In just three simple steps, you'll serve up a meal that will put the whole family in a festive spirit.
Your Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Place sour cream in a squeeze bottle and draw a spiral, working from the center to the edges of your bowl. Feel free to make "squiggly" lines for a messier look.
Step 2: Drag a toothpick from the center to the outside of your bowl, forming a series of lines that are spaced evenly apart (Think of slicing a pizza). To make these lines clearer, fill the gaps with an extra squeeze of sour cream.
Step 3: For an extra scary addition, grab one black olive to make a spider. Slice it in half lengthways. Place one half in the center of your bowl—or off to the side, if that's what your heart desires. Slice the other half into into eight pieces crosswise. Set four olive slices on each side of the spider's body to create legs.
