Le Creuset Brings the Magic This Fall With Disney-Themed Cookware
A Dutch oven inspired by Mickey himself will be available at Williams-Sonoma.
Just when you think you couldn't bring more Disney magic into your kitchens, Le Creuset has announced that they're adding new items to their Disney collaboration—including a Dutch oven featuring the Mouse himself—in celebration of Mickey's 90th birthday. Earlier this year, home cooks rushed to get their hands on the very first pieces released in Le Creuset's Disney collaboration, which features a pair of Mickey Ears ramekins anda silicone cooling mat that is almost too cute for words.
While the latest collaboration celebrates Disney's most iconic character, it's just one among many Disney-themed pieces that Le Creuset has graced us with over the last few years. Remember when Le Creuset launched a cocotte devoted to fans of Snow White? Or the stunningly beautiful oven inspired by Beauty and the Beast?
Starting on October 15, shoppers will find a new 2-quart Dutch oven (perfect for couples!) with Mickey's signature ears embossed directly onto the cast-iron lid. It comes in a brilliant red enamel, a Le Creuset signature color that was also used on earlier pieces, and will be significantly cheaper than its 4-quart counterpart—which is currently on sale for $350.
There's literally no better time than the holidays to slow roast your favorite stews, soups, and other one-pot meals. A Dutch oven is already magical enough—it's the gateway to the one recipe we can't live without this season—but bringing Mickey to the table can make healthy eating a whole lot more fun.
