The email here at work is blinging like mad with reminders about this month’s 12 Healthy Habits goal of “Get Moving”. It makes me tired just thinking about it.

My mind has completely wrapped around my need for exercise. I know that I will sleep better. I notice many nights that I go to bed with a body that is still wanting to move around (likely because it stood around so much of the day). I know that my general disposition is loads better when I am exercising regularly because my mind slows down for some reason and I can relax a little more. I also know that I dread going “out” less because I look so much cuter in my clothes – even when I’m not at my goal weight. Lastly, it takes away my urge to throw water balloons at all the other healthy runners in my very outdoorsy neighborhood because I am one of them, not a sad wannabe.

So, all that said, I still don’t want to get off my duff today and do this. I have a haircut and dinner plans with my husband and I need to go to my rental condo and check on the heat that is on the blink. I am not sure where I will find the time. The struggle begins.
