I've been running a ton, so I haven't been able to properly thank blogger commenters Bethany, Amy P., jen, Amelia and Sara for the hookup.  Your collective recco has me veggied up in ways I didn't know. I also gave Whole Foods my life savings, but thanks to Chase Freedom Card 5 percent cash back I ended up booking a Caribbean cruise...but I digress.

Had a milestone yesterday...running late (as usual) and stuck on the fifth floor garage when the train rolls in. I jack rabbit into a full on sprint to catch it and made it by the skin of my teeth.  For the first time in I don't know how long I didn't feel like I shook up my world. I felt good, alive, and strong.

I've buddied up with a neighbor training for a march marathon (not me...him).  We're like peas and carrots. I'm up early running the streets outside Philadelphia or climbing stairs at the gym like I was trying to win a race to the top of the Empire State Building (I think there was one on Monday).  Three weeks into Gumping around I can sprint to a train without being winded. That's progress in my book.  Check out the movie Run Fatboy Run. That's not me but it made me laugh and get moving.
