Winter can take a visible toll on your body, from increasing those pesky carb cravings to wreaking havoc on your skin. Sometimes it can feel like no matter how hard you try, you simply can’t do enough to keep your skin moisturized during the first few months of the year. While we are certainly a far cry from being beauty experts, our staff shared a few of their favorite skincare products that will keep you glowing, no matter the climate.

For Your Face

Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray

This facial spray uses Evian mineral water to hydrate and calm all skin types. One consumer research panel found women who used this product twice daily for a month reported having more hydrated, tighter, and softer skin. One of our editors who swears by the spray says, “Cover your hairline and go to town. Let air dry before bed, and I promise you in the morning your cheeks are going to feel brand new.”

Glow Recipe Watermelon Moisturizer

Two of our editors are obsessed with this beautiful addition to your countertop or medicine cabinet. The lightweight moisturizer works for all skin types and feels cool to the touch to best soothe irritated skin. Hyaluronic acid, watermelon extract, and other soothing botanicals are the perfect formula for baby-soft skin all winter long. Glow Recipe is just one of the K-Beauty brands taking over the skincare world, and is certainly worth checking out.

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer

This is the perfect product for creating that summertime glow while still protecting your skin. A  tinted moisturizer is a great multi-purpose tool during wintertime, and this one evens out your skin tone, moisturizes, protects with SPF 20, and gives you that dewy, sun-kissed look even in the middle of a snowstorm. This is one of our writers’ favorites, and she says it is both a great foundation on its own and mixed in with other foundations if you are looking for a more subtle glow and matte finish.

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Mini

One of our editors calls this his “AC in a bottle.” He said it helps him feel refreshed and combats dry flakiness. Besides boosting dry and dull skin, it also serves to brighten the eyes, thanks to topical caffeine. Refrigerate this convenient gel stick overnight to better soothe and energize skin.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

If you live in a cold or dry climate, chapped lips are pretty much inevitable in the winter. But one of our editors swears by a product that has cured her parched lips for good. Laneige’s lip mask works its moisturizing magic overnight with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to give you smoother, more supple lips by morning.

We would be doing you a disservice if we failed to mention this brand when it comes to healing dry skin. While they are best known for their facial skincare products, their body cream also deserves a shoutout.
