Trader Joe's Just Released 5 New Products That Are Surprisingly Healthy
These new products are sure to earn a place on your weekly grocery list.
A new year means a whole new range of Trader Joe’s products, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’re always keeping our eyes peeled for new items—and especially ones that meet our nutrition guidelines. While we’ve already tried their new “crab-less” crab cakes, there are several other brand-new items we are excited to try in 2019.
Organic Rosé Dressing
This dressing was released at the perfect time, so you can get your rosé fix (even if you’re in the middle of Dry January). However, you’ll likely want to keep this in your fridge year-round for drizzling on summer salads or fresh fruit. Two tablespoons of this dressing clocks in at only 110 calories, 12g of fat, and only 1g of sugar.
Organic French Rolls
While we would typically prefer a 100% whole-wheat bread, these dinner rolls taste straight from a Parisian bakery and are the perfect way to bulk up a soup-and-salad dinner. These large, fluffy rolls are perfect for making paninis, and have just 130 calories per roll. Try one as a base for our Egg-in-a-Nest BLT Sandwiches.

Organic Earl Grey Tea
Earl Grey is one of our editor’s favorite teas, and we think it’s about to become one of yours, too. This tea is popular in the U.K. and we love it served as is, or mixed into a tasty cocktail. And at less than $2.50 for 20 bags, TJ’s earl grey tea is much more affordable than your daily Starbucks run.
Cinnamon Croissant Loaf
This cinnamon croissant loaf is a sweet, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth indulgence. While we don’t advise snacking on a slice every day, this loaf makes for a tasty treatat 170 calories, 8g of fat, and 6g of sugar per slice. This loaf would also make a fantastic french toast, in my personal opinion.
Spinach and Riced Cauliflower Salad
I know this one may not sound super exciting, but this pre-made salad pack makes a simple and healthy addition to your weeknight dinner or lunchbox. This salad kit comes with spinach, golden beets, almonds, riced cauliflower, and a packet of balsamic vinaigrette. Toss a little grilled chicken, tempeh, or quinoa in there for a power-packed meal. This salad kit clocks in at 140 calories, 12g of fat, and 2g of sugar for a two-and-a-half cup serving.
