Baby’s First Photo Shoot Is Shopping-Themed After Surprise Birth In Grocery Store
If you think your weekly trip to the grocers is stressful, imagine giving birth to your newborn smack in the middle of the produce aisle – and not even knowing that you were pregnant in the first place.
Ashleigh Miller-Cross was in for the shock of a lifetime when she went into labor and delivered a newborn baby son in the washroom of an Atlantic Superstore in Nova Scotia – without even suspecting she was pregnant after the birth of her daughter just 11 months earlier.
The newfound mother of two made light of the situation, however, when she teamed up with local photographer Jen Matchett of Branches Photography in her native Halifax.
The healthy baby boy, Ezra, didn’t put up any fuss as he nestled into the basket of ingredients for his debut, with Matchett calling him a “dream” to shoot.
The photos have since gone viral, a delightful surprise for Miller-Cross and her family (who already were over-the-moon with free diapers for a whole year as a gift from the supermarket that Ezra was born in).
While we know you might never come across as something so precious as Ezra in your own basket, we’re hoping to make your grocery shopping a little easier than giving birth right here.
