It’s not the dread of cooking that deters so many of us from the kitchen each night; it’s actually deciding what to cook from the millions of options bombarding us from so many different places. Here, we’ve done the planning for you. Not just menus, but healthy menus that are fast – on the table in less than 45 minutes.

Monday: The perfect Meatless Monday meal, this full menu—cakes, salsa, and a veggie side—comes together in just 40 minutes. Prep pointer: Use a long, flat spatula to carefully flip the patties.
Tuesday: Combine a hearty steak sandwich with classic pizza flavor for a fun knife-and-fork meal ready in just 20 minutes.
Wednesday: One of our favorite dishes of all time, this Cumin-Crusted Sablefish is the most crazy-delicious reader-submitted recipes ever. It's worth the tiny bit of effort to toast and grind your own cumin seeds—the flavor payoff is huge. Save a few cumin seeds for tomorrow's side dish.
Thursday: Instead of buying separately, ask the butcher at your grocery store to break down a 3 1/2-pound chicken to get the breasts and leg-thigh quarters you need for this recipe. If you're cooking for kids, simply omit the crushed red pepper in the rice.
Friday: Crave takeout on Friday nights? Me too. This incredibly fast Pork Fried Rice fits the bill perfectly—and slashes sodium and calories to boot.
