There's an old adage that goes, "It's not what's on the outside that matters, but what's on the inside that counts." To that end, we took everyone's favorite poultry and stuffed it with all sorts of delicious ingredients, creating these delectable stuffed chicken breast recipes.

Chicken breasts are an all-time kitchen favorite. But, like everything else, the same old chicken dishes can get boring and repetitive. Therefore, we're casting aside conventional chicken preparation and bringing you a gallery full of stuffed chicken breast recipes to really spice things up. Bon appétit!

Our first entry is Stuffed Chicken and Herb Gravy with Creamy Polenta. This 40-minute chicken dish is quick and simple, and the creamy polenta is a healthier alternative to creamy mashed potatoes.

Serve with creamy polenta and garlicky broccoli rabe sautéed in olive oil. Guanciale is a lean, full-flavored Italian pork product. Although it contains less fat than either, it's similar to pancetta or cured bacon--which you can substitute if you can't find guanciale. And Gorgonzola is Italy's most famous blue cheese, but any blue cheese will work in this dish.
