It seems like as soon as the leaves start to turn, suddenly everything turns pumpkin. I'm not talking about some Cinderella fairytale where everything literally turns into a pumpkin, but rather when everything becomes pumpkin flavored.

I thought I had truly found my end to pumpkin spice this and pumpkin seed that — until I sampled some delicious fall snacks that will help keep me on track to a healthy holiday season. Gold Emblem Dry-Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

These were seriously one of the best snacks I've had in a long time. No fuss, flavors, or crazy ingredients, just true pumpkin seeds roasted and tossed in some salt. They are perfect. If you want something simple, crunchy, protein-packed, and a little salty, this is the snack for you. Snag a bag of these or their spicy, honey-flavored cousin at your local CVS store
