Yellow Raspberry

A pale cousin of the red raspberry, with the same flavor; adds great color to salads.

Glossy black, caviar-like beads burst on the tongue. Jammy and often tart, reminiscent of full-bodied red wines. Lots of crunchy seeds.

Sweet, plump, and juicy, with tons of tiny seeds within. Look for firm but not underripe berries. If you can find the tiny wild ones, dig in. Loaded with natural thickening pectin.

Inky-black berry with thicker skin and more pucker than a blueberry. Makes a great tart jam, or a great tart tart.

Fruit that looks like a Thompson grape's offbeat cousin, with funky stripes and stubby stems. The tart flavor is unique, with notes of apricot and plum. Perfect for a late-summer cocktail.
