This broccoli cousin, easily idenitified by long, slender stalks and tender florets, has been around since 1993. It's also known as brocolette, or sweet baby broccoli. High in vitamins C, A, and E, it's a great choice for crunchy slaws or quick sautés.

Instead of cabbage, this quick slaw gets its crunch from fresh carrots, beets, and Broccolini. Serve simply with baked fish or as an alternative to coleslaw with hamburgers or barbecue.
