With the start of summer days away, we’re already dreaming of our favorite poolside sipper—rosé wine. And being the deal-hunting winos that we are, we’re pretty stoked about this superb find at our local Target. For a limited time, you can buy the 2016 Charles & Charles Rosé for $11.99, less than what it typically goes for online or in wine stores. Given its top quality, this is a great bargain on one of the best-valued American rosé wines out there.

A collaboration between well-known West Coast winemakers Charles Smith and Charles Bieler, the Charles & Charles rosé has consistently scored high marks from Wine Spectator since its first vintage in 2008. Produced in Columbia Valley, Washington state’s largest wine-producing area, this well-balanced wine blends several red wine grape varieties, most notably Syrah and Grenache. The 2016 vintage is highly approachable, easy to love, and even easier to drink. The flavor is dry and lightly acidic with just the right amount of fruit—if you’re hesitant about rosé wine, give this one a shot. We also love the funky artwork on the label, courtesy of the iconic Hatch Show Print store in Nashville.

Good wine deserves a good glass. Any standard Sauvignon Blanc glass works well with a light-bodied rosé such as the Charles & Charles. For outdoor picnics, pool parties, and grill-outs, we love the stylish design of stemless Govino polymer glassware

Get your hands on this top bang-for-your-buck rosé wine while you can. Check your nearest Target to make sure it’s in stock before you shop. Cheers!
