Bake It Forward with Lilly and Audrey Andrews
Today's #BakeItForward celebrity supporters are twins Lilly and Audrey Andrews, co-authors of Cooking Light We [Heart] Cooking. Lilly and Audrey baked a second batch of their Lemon Tea Cookies for their godmother, Mary Bauer. Mary tutors at a local middle school, drives the elderly and the blind to their appointments, and teaches classes for kids at her church, they said.
Eating healthy should still be delicious.
"Mary gives to people all year long," they said. "Last year she helped us sew holiday table runners to donate to the local retirement home. It was as much fun spending time with her sewing as it was giving the gifts. We baked an extra batch for Mary to show her that we love her and to tell her that she inspires us. It feels nice to make people happy with our baking, especially her!"
