We Tried It: TK Hibiscus Teas
I’ve always been someone who has a hard time drinking the recommended amount of water throughout the day, so I was excited to try a new form of hydration: flavored hibiscus teas from TK Hibiscus.
At 20 calories per serving (2 servings per bottle), they definitely pack a lot of flavor. All the bold flavor is from natural sources, nothing artificial. If you're a fan of ginger, jasmine, or mint, you certainly get a pungent hit of each in these teas.
At first sip, each tea is a little bitter. A little added organic agave helps ease that bitterness, and after taking a few more sips, I became accustomed to that bitterness and really began to enjoy it. (I can’t say the same for my husband, although he did finish the whole bottle!) However, if you are looking for a sweeter drink (sweet tea drinkers from the South, I mean you) this won't be your go-to. These are flavored teas, not flavored sweet teas.
My personal favorites were the ginger and jasmine. The mint was a little too overpowering for me, but personal preferences may sway you in a different direction.
