Taste Test Award Winner: Sargento Balanced Breaks
I’m not a very organized person when it comes to meal or snack planning, so I’m a big fan of convenience products. A snack I can grab that’s nutritious and has fewer calories than what you find in a vending machine is the route I choose. Thankfully, I always have lots of new snack ideas to put in the rotation after Taste Test Awards.
Eating healthy should still be delicious.
My favorite snack this year, by far, was Sargento Balanced Breaks. The container has sections with cubes of cheese, nuts, and fruit. I love that everything is pre-measured and the entire container is less than 200 calories with 7 grams of protein. Sargento Balanced Breaks come in four different cheese/fruit/nut flavors which are all good, but my personal favorite is the pepper jack cheese with peanuts and raisins. The creamy, slightly spicy cheese combined with the crunch of the peanuts and the sweetness of the raisins makes for the perfect snack. You better believe that these convenient packages will be front and center in my refrigerator so that I can grab one and go.
