Soft, leafy herbs are among the all-around loveliest beacons of warmer weather. They look pretty, they smell pretty, and if you believe that food can taste pretty, they do that too. So much more than plate garnishes, fresh herbs like parsley, dill, and mint can bring a distinct vivacity to anything from savory sauces to sorbet. Here, we have an entire meal--appetizer to dessert--that is brightened and enlightened with some all time favorites from the herb garden.

Parsley leaves make an awesome addition to most any salad blend, but I especially love them teamed up with celery's peppery crunch in this Celery and Parsley Salad. It's a vibrant and elegant starter, for sure.

Dill and fish are without-a-doubt created for one another. Story over. Few dishes drive that point home better than our Roasted Salmon with Dill, Capers, and Horseradish.

Get a bit more green on the plate with Pan Charred Green Beans with Tarragon. Because spring = green, and crispy charred beans + lightly licorice-y fresh tarragon = too good not to.

Berries, citrus, and basil--these are a few of my favorite things. That being that, Blueberry and Basil Lemonade has to be the ultimate spring sipper. And if you want to make it extra-ultimate, try slipping some gin in there.

And for dessert, a forever favorite, Fresh Mint Ice Cream. P.S. No one would judge you if you let a handful of chocolate chips fall into your ice cream base.
