It is the rare mother and daughter that go into business together and manage to remain close friends. Luckily for Shohreh and Yasaman Vojdani (and for granola lovers everywhere) the Maryland-based mother and daughter pair pulled it off, creating a successful business and a strong bond along the way. Shohreh brings her background in nutrition and cooking experience to the table while her daughter Yasaman handles all their business and marketing needs. Together they run Oat My Goodness, where they create healthy, tasty, craft granola based on Shohreh’s creative recipes (and some input from the rest of the family).

After months of tasting and tweaking each recipe, Shohreh and Yasaman are ready to package their small but diverse granola, the newest of which is Starshine. A mix of orange blossom, cardamom, pistachios, and dried sour cherries, this newest blend is delicate, exotic, yet comforting and warm. Yasaman suggests Starshine as a topping for smoothie bowls, overnight oats, or sprinkled generously over yogurt and fresh berries. All Oat My Goodness blends are low sugar and have no added salt, so dive straight into the bag for a satisfying snack.

Oat My Goodness Starshine Granola is available at omgcraftgranola.com and in stores across the country. Oat My Goodness is a proud member of the Good Food Merchants Guild, national association uniting American craft food businesses to connect, convene and promote Good Food businesses of all sizes.
