Teresa Sabga

Teresa is a food journalist and trained chef who often references her Italian and Middle Eastern roots. Most recently, she developed the Caribbean's first multimedia food brand, Propa Eats. It rapidly became the region's leading source for food news, restaurant reviews, essays, and recipes. In her decade-long career of cooking and developing recipes for media, she has contributed to Cooking Light, Extra Crispy, and even created her own award-winning magazine, Baked, at her alma matter, Syracuse University. Education: Teresa studied newspaper, magazine, and online journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. During her undergrad, she launched Baked, an award-winning, student-run food publication. Teresa later attended short courses at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, explored vegan and gluten-free cooking at Plant Academy in London, and completed Cook The Farm at Anna Tasca Lanza in Sicily.
