Kelsey Ogletree

Kelsey Ogletree is an independent journalist contributing to a range of national digital and print outlets, from The Wall Street Journal to Travel + Leisure and AARP The Magazine. She specializes in food, wellness, and travel and has been writing professionally for more than 12 years. Experience: For nearly a decade, Kelsey worked as a staff editor for McKinsey & Company, Modern Luxury, and Connect Meetings before starting her own business as an independent journalist in 2017. She's spent years traveling the United States, as well as some European countries, Australia, and the Caribbean, in search of the greatest stories in travel, food, and wellness. Education: Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree in broadcast communications, with minors in communication and chemistry, from private Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She went on to earn her master’s in journalism degree from the esteemed Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago.
