Carolyn Williams, PhD, RD

Carolyn Williams, Ph.D., RD, is a 2017 James Beard Journalism Award winner and a leading culinary nutrition expert who has a knack for breaking down complex science into simple, concise bits of information and tips. She writes for a variety of publications on nutrition and health topics ranging from inflammation to the impact diet and lifestyle has on mental health. Her work is regularly featured by EatingWell, Real Simple, Cooking Light, and Allrecipes. She also creates quick, healthy recipes that you can’t wait to eat. Education: Carolyn graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Food and Nutrition. She later earned a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology and a Doctorate in Health Education. Her dissertation research examined how the eating habits and nutritional intake of adults changed with the birth of a first child.
