Craving burgers and pizza tonight? Treat your family to both with this wholesome mash-up. Whole-wheat pizza dough provides a fiber-rich base for lean ground turkey and a bounty of toppings. Pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce piled on top make this tasty main dish fun to eat for kids and parents alike. But the real finishing touch is the sauce—a nostalgic flavor bomb of sweet ketchup, tangy pickle juice, mayo, and mustard. It’s everything you love about a burger without the fast food guilt.

How to Make It

Step 1

Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in oven. Preheat oven to 450°F. Do not remove pizza stone while oven preheats.

Step 2

Let dough stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Roll dough on parchment paper into a 14-inch circle.

Step 3

Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high. Add turkey, scallions, and garlic to skillet. Cook 5 to 6 minutes or until turkey is browned.

Step 4

Spread marinara sauce over pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with cheese, turkey mixture, and tomato slices. Leaving pizza on parchment paper, place onto pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a wire rack; let cool briefly.

Step 5

Combine mayonnaise, pickle juice, ketchup, mustard, and 2 teaspoons water in a small bowl. Drizzle mixture over top of pizza; top with shredded lettuce and pickle chips. Cut into 8 slices.
