Tea with Ginger-Citrus Ice Cubes

Infuse a warm cup of Earl Grey with the flavors of lemon and ginger with these innovative ice cubes. Frozen together, along with throat soothing honey, the ice cubes bring a world of flavor and take a normal cup of tea from basic to impressive. 

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons grated ginger
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons manuka honey
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 4 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 6 cups boiling water

How to Make It

  1. In a small mixing bowl whisk ginger, lemon, honey and water until combined.
  2. Pour mixture into 4 ice cube mold. Freeze for 2-3 hours or overnight.
  3. In 4 tea cups add 1 tea bag and 1.5 cups hot water to each. Steep to desired strength. Add an ice cube to each and stir until melted. Cover with a saucer and steep for 10 minutes, or until fragrant.
