The Broccolini stays perfectly al dente while picking up a nice bit of sear from the hot pan. Fish sauce and sambal oelek (ground fresh chile paste, available in the international aisle) give this side a Vietnamese profile. If you don't have fish sauce on hand, use soy sauce. Pair this with seafood or pork.

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat toasted sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add Broccolini; stir-fry 1 minute. Add water; cook 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

Step 2

Stir in scallions, fish sauce, chili garlic sauce, fresh lime juice, sugar, and crushed red pepper, if desired. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until liquid evaporates.
