Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate melts and is smooth. Stir in matcha.
Immediately spread chocolate mixture into a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Immediately sprinkle with cherries, almonds, and salt. Place pan in refrigerator for 15 minutes or until set. Break into pieces.
