Refreshing ginger and mint steep in antioxidant abundant green tea, for a supremely soothing tonic. If enjoying before bedtime, opt for decaffeinated green tea bags for an easier sleep.

Ingredients

  • 2 green tea bags
  • 2 teaspoons honey, divided
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons minced ginger (with skins on)
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Divide green tea bags, honey, and mint leaves into two glasses.
  2. In a small sauce pot, bring water, ginger, and cayenne to a rolling boil. Strain using a fine mesh sieve, dividing tea into two glasses. Let steep for 3 minutes and remove tea bag and mint leaves to enjoy.
