  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 pound trimmed haricots verts (French green beans)
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

How to Make It

  1. Preheat broiler to high with oven rack in top position. Combine sesame oil and soy sauce in a medium bowl. Add haricots verts to soy sauce mixture; toss to coat. Spread bean mixture in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Add garlic; toss. Broil 5 minutes or until beans are lightly charred and tender, stirring occasionally. Place bean mixture on a platter; sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
