Perfect for burgers, sandwiches, or even toast, this Everything Savory Jam adds a salty, garlicky punch to whatever dishes it's added to. Yellow onions with fresh garlic are cooked down until they reach a jam-like consistency, then we add the iconic mix of poppy and sesame seeds for fun texture and flavor.

How to Make It

Step 1

Add olive oil to a medium pot and place over medium-low heat. Stir in onions and garlic, cooking for about 20 minutes or until the onions have begun to reduce and caramelize.

Step 2

Add the remaining ingredients and turn the heat down to low. Continue cooking for about 20 minutes, or until a thick, jam-like consistency is reached. Pour in a jar and seal tightly. Keeps in the fridge for about a week.
