Easy Ginger Spritzer

A simple cocktail base, or drink for warmer weather, this Easy Ginger Spritzer is a refreshing treat. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces sliced ginger with peel
  • 4 cups sparkling water

How to Make It

  1. In a small sauce add water and sugar over medium-high heat. Cook until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Turn off heat and add ginger. Cover and let steep overnight. or until very fragrant. Strain ginger from syrup into a small bowl.
  3. In eight glasses add ice, 1/4 cup of simple syrup, and top with half a cup of sparkling water for each.
