  • 1 (15-oz.) can unsalted chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound trimmed haricots verts
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

How to Make It

  1. Preheat broiler to high. Place chickpeas on a rimmed baking sheet; rub with a clean kitchen towel to loosen skins. Add olive oil and haricots verts to pan; toss. Broil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine bean mixture, pepper, salt, and cumin in a medium bowl; toss. Place bean mixture on a platter; sprinkle with chopped fresh mint.
