A competitive athlete for most of her life, Stacy started out as a gymnast before taking up springboard and platform diving at 16. She competed in the Junior Olympics and was later recruited by Columbia University. After a series of injuries limited her pursuit of triathlons, Stacy took up road racing in 2006. She comes over from Team Cheerwine, where she consistently worked hard for her teammates in all types of terrain. Stacy has distinguished herself as a strong climber with the strength and stamina to achieve top 10 results in tough stage races like the Redlands Bicycle Classic. When she's not training or competing, Stacy is working to complete her PhD in Language, Literature, and Society at the University of California at Berkeley.
