
Iona Wynter Parks
Position: Director Sportif
Iona Wynter Parks was named Director Sportif following her retirement from active racing in 2008. One of the most accomplished athletes in the North American women's peloton, Iona holds the Pursuit record in her native Jamaica. Iona retired as the American & Caribbean Scratch Champion title and was ranked 9th in the world in scratch. In road racing, Iona achieved numerous top 10 finishes while delivering long-time teammate Tina Pic to countless victories and podium appearances in NRC events. A former Olympic triathlete (she represented Jamaica at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney), Iona teaches French and holds a master's in French language and literature. Outside of cycling and education, Iona enjoys reading, movies, and traveling to far-off places.
